Diversity, equity, and inclusion:
Earth science is the least diverse STEM field in the United States. Enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the earth sciences is at core of what drives me as a scientist. Innovative interdisciplinary research is best achieved with a team of diverse perspectives and skillsets. A critical part of my scientific role is supporting underrepresented and underserved students throughout all levels of academia as they navigate their own scientific pathways.
